Roterra Piling is a progressive piling solution provider servicing North America through Canadian and American locations in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and Houston, Texas, USA.  We design, engineer, manufacture, and install piling foundations for any application. We pride ourselves on our facilities, equipment and people and our portfolio of services include pile engineering, load testing, metal fabricating, helical piling, driven piling, bored piling and augercast (cfa) piling. These services are backed by ISO 9001:2015 Certification.

 

Our founder started our group of companies in 1992 in fabrication and quickly transitioned into a leading manufacturer of helical piles over 20 years ago. Initially, we installed only helical piles but now we are able to offer all major foundation types complete with in-house engineering. Our global headquarters is in Acheson, Alberta, Canada and consists of office space, mechanic bays, a purpose-built manufacturing facility, and an 8-acre laydown yard.  We have additional facilities in Houston, Texas. Each year, We process millions of feet of raw pipe and pounds of steel plate.

In 2003, we were approached by a leading energy producer, to manufacture and install helical piles for their refinery. The entrepreneurial spirit led our team to invest in installation equipment and build out an engineering, field execution, and management team to support the turnkey solution offering of helical piles. We started with one installation machine with 70,000 ft-lbs of torque and today have an expansive installation fleet.

As the helical pile industry continued to grow, we continued to push the limits of technology. Like any burgeoning industry, the helical pile industry has not been without its challenges. In 2014 we proactively transformed our business from a single product, albeit vertically integrated, company to a dynamic technology-focused solution provider.

To build on one of our founding principles of providing industry-leading quality, we certified our company to ISO 9001:2015 in 2016 before celebrating our 25th year in business.

 

Our Piling team of engineers, tradespeople, and installers provides our clients of any size with a turnkey solution for any foundation project. From several to several thousand piles, we are willing and able to work on any project. We take pride in our product and service and through continual improvement aim to achieve our goal of being the best at what we do.
